Overview of the Marketing Page

Marketing Page

To get to the Market page of SAAS First, select the “Marketing” point in the menu on the left.  Here, you can see all your existing marketing messages and can create new ones.

Create New Message

Under the “+Create new” option, select the outbound message type:

The creation of all 3 messages looks almost the same.

Audience

First, you have to select the audience you want to send the message to.

All your customers and subscribers are listed here, and you can add specific filter(s) to the list in order to target a narrower audience for your messages by clicking on “Filter”.

Here you can select:

  • Saved Filters
  • Businesses parameters
  • Contact-Businesses parameters
  • or Events parameters.

At the top of the page, you can select the Filter type:

  • Custom, where you can add customized filters to the list of customers
  • Or you can set up predefined filters as well, for easy access

Next to the Filter type, you can select the Send type:

  • Fixed: sending your message only to the contacts currently on your list. New contacts added later won't receive the campaign message.
  • Dynamic: sending your message to current contacts and automatically including new contacts who match the criteria in the future added by the filter(s).

At the top right corner of the page, you can see the number of customers you are targeting based on the filters you have added.

Triggering

At the Triggering menu point, you can select the type of trigger that will make your message appear to the customers.

The trigger can be:

  • A specific URL: This means that if the audience visits the website you added to the trigger, the message will be sent to them.
  • Cookie: Here you have to enter your cookie name and the cookie value.
  • Geolocation: Here you have to enter the country you want your message to appear.
  • Action: Here you have to enter the action element sector and the type of action that will trigger the message (click, mouseover, mouseout, scroll)
  • API call: Here you have to enter the API endpoint to trigger the message.

Content

At the Content menu point, you have to create the actual content you want to send to your audience.

Add a title to the message. This will only be visible to you, so you can easily find the message later in the list.

You can also select the category to which your message belongs.

Select the team member from whom you want to send the message. The audience will see that the message was sent from that person.

When creating a chat message, select the appearance of the message:

  • Badge
  • Full message
  • Preview message
  • And the preview time limit

When creating a popup message, set up the popup settings:

  • Showing cancel button or not
  • Showing action button or not
  • If you want to show an action button, enter the text for the button and select the action type (reply or URL redirect)

For all of the message types, you have to enter the content of the message you would like to send. For the popup messages, enter a title as well, and for the emails, enter an email subject above the body of the message.

Scheduling

The scheduling of your message can be:

  • Immediately sent
  • Or you can enter a specific date when you want your message to be sent

You can choose to

  • never end the campaign
  • or you can enter a specific date when you want your message-sending to end

Goal

And finally, you can choose from several goals you would like to achieve with your campaigns and messages. When you set up a goal for your marketing messages, you will be able to see how successful they were in the statistics.

Messages

All your marketing messages are listed here with their title and the message type (chat, popup, email). You will also see how many people the message was sent to and how many of them opened it, clicked, and replied.

The Filter button on the left allows you to search for a specific message based on its title.

In addition, you will see the percentage of fulfilled goals and the status of the message (whether it is active or not or it is a draft), and you can select to see the statistics of each message.

If you want to edit an existing message, you can do that by clicking on the Edit icon on the right.

Statistics

Click on the Statistics icon next to the message on the right. You will see a comprehensive analysis of how your message performed, including the percentage of sent messages, opens, clicks, replies, and goals fulfilled.

You will see which customers fulfilled that specific goal and when you click on each percentage.
