Welcome to the Customers Module PRO Guide
This article will help you become proficient in using advanced features of the Customers Module, including creating custom events, saving custom events, and importing events from a file. Follow these steps to enhance your customer data management.
Creating a New Event Type
To track specific data about your customers, you can create new event types:
Access Event Types:
- Go to the Settings in the Customers Module and select the Event Types menu point on the left.
Add a New Event Type:
- Click on +Add new event type.
- Enter the details of the event type, including data name, type, title, and description.
Saving Your First Custom Event
Once you have created a custom event type, you can start tracking it:
- Track the Event:
- The custom event you created is now ready to be tracked.
- When you or one of your customers perform an action related to the event, it will be saved to your Event board.
Importing Events
You can import events from a file to manage them efficiently:
Initiate Import:
- On your Events page, click on the Import button in the top right corner.
Upload File:
- Drag-and-drop or select the file you want to upload from your computer.
Match Data:
- Match the rows and parameter values according to your file. Once ready, click on Import Events.
View Imported Events:
- After the import process, you can view your imported events in the Events menu point.
