How to assign a contact to a ticket


When you have a task, bug report, or feature request from a specific customer, or the ticket's content is related to someone from your contacts, you can assign a contact to a ticket to indicate that.


To assign a contact to a ticket follow these steps:

  1. Open the ticket you would like to edit
  2. Under Custom Fields click + Add new field
  3. Click Contacts
  4. Click + Assing contact
    1. In the pop-up, you can use the search bar to find the right person among your contacts.
    2. Tick the checkbox next to the contact to assign the ticket.
  5. Once you are done close the ticket to save changes.
