Mastering Guide to Setting Up Your Knowledge Base
You'll need to complete the following 3 simple steps:
Invite your team members
Set up a custom domain
Set up Google Analytics for your Knowledge Base
Step 1: Invite your team members
Invite your team members to your workspace under the Admin section.
In the Members option, just click on the Invite Team Member button and enter the email addresses of those people you want to see in your workspace.
After each email, click on Add, and when ready, click on next, and select the permissions you want to give to these members.
They can either be
owners with unlimited access,
managers with editing access,
or members with usage access to the modules.
When you're done with the setup, click on Send invite, so you can all collaborate and manage your knowledge base-.
Step 2: Set up a custom domain
Your Knowledge Base is currently displayed on saasfirsthelp.com, followed by your workspace name. To maintain brand consistency, you may prefer to show your Knowledge Base on a custom domain like help.yourdomain.com.
First things first, in your domain's DNS provider, you need to set up a CNAME directing your visitors to SAAS First to this target: helppages.saasfirst.com. When the CNAME setup is ready, please let us know your Knowledge Base URL. If you experience any SSL error, contact us, and we will do the final step for you.
And finally, when you set up CNAME correctly and save your URL in SAAS First's settings, your Knowledge Base will appear in your custom domain, e.g., help.yourdomain.com.

Step 3: Set up Google Analytics for your Knowledge Base
Find the Knowledge Base settings, and within the Basic option, enter your Google Analytics tracking ID. Once it’s done, you’ll know much more about what your visitors are doing in your Knowledge Base.
