Welcome to the Boards Module Mastering Guide
This article will help you become proficient in using the advanced features of the Boards Module, including customizing your board, adding team members, assigning To Dos, and collaborating effectively. Follow these steps to enhance your task management and teamwork.
Customizing Your Board
Create a board tailored to your needs by customizing columns:
Access Board Settings:
- Go to the Boards Module and find the Board Settings icon on the top right corner of the platform.
Rename Columns:
- Click on the title of each column to rename it.
Add New Columns:
- Click on the + sign between each column.
- Enter the name of your new column and select a color for it.
- Click on Save.
Reorder Columns:
- Use the drag-and-drop feature to change the order of the columns.
Adding Team Members to Your Board
Collaborate with your team by adding members to your board:
Access Board Settings:
- Go to the Board Settings on the top right corner of the platform.
Add Team Members:
- Click on the + sign at the top to add team members to your board.
- Select the members you want to add. They will be added to your board for collaboration.
Assigning a To Do to a Member
Work efficiently in teams by assigning To Dos to specific team members:
Open a To Do:
- Click on a To Do on your board to open it.
Assign Member:
- Under Members on the right, select the person you want to assign the To Do to.
- The To Do will be assigned to the selected team member.
Adding Custom Fields to Your To Dos
Enhance your To Dos with additional information by adding custom fields:
These custom fields include:
- Labels
- Deadlines
- Conversations
- Contacts
- Text fields
- Checklists
