Getting Started Guide for Setting Up Your Knowledge Base

You'll need to complete the following six simple steps:

  1. Create your first Knowledge Base article

  2. Name your first category

  3. Set up sections

  4. Customize your Knowledge Base

  5. Start your subscription

  6. Write more Knowledge Base articles

Step 1: Create your first Knowledge Base article

Go to your Knowledge Base module, click on the first category, and the Add new article button. Here, all you have to do is find something that you can just copy from your website. For example, a product description. In SAAS First, paste the content you just copied. Give it a title and a short description, decide whether you want it to be visible for customers, and whether you want the AI chatbot to learn the information, and turn on the toggles at the bottom accordingly. Once ready, click on Save.

Step 2: Name your first category

You probably noticed that you already have your first category in your Knowledge Base, where you created your first article. Give it a Good, describing name by clicking on the category, and entering your chosen name under the Category name. Once ready, click on Save changes.

Step 3: Set up sections

You can also see that you have a section in your Knowledge Base category if you click on See articles. You can change the name of the section to anything you like b clicking on its name and entering the one you choose to name it. When ready, just hit Enter, or click somewhere on the page.

The categories and sections in your Knowledge Base make sure that all the information you put in there stay organized and easy-to-search.

Step 4: Customize your Knowledge Base

To customize how your Knowledge Base looks to match it to your brand, go to the Knowledge Base Settings. Under the Style option, you can customize the color, logo, favicon, titles and description, and some other additional details in your Knowledge Base. Once you’re ready with the setup, click on the Visit website button to see what it looks like live. If you’re satisfied with your work, click on Save changes. And now you have your professional-looking Knowledge Base that integrates perfectly into your brand and business!

Step 5: Start your subscription

In your Admin section, choose the Subscription option, and find the My Plan part. Click on Subscribe, and once you fill out the billing details, you'll be ready to start your subscription!

Step 6: Write more Knowledge Base articles

Write as many articles as you can with useful content about your business. Go to your Knowledge Base, create new categories, name and customize them, and create sections within them. This way, you’ll have an organized place for your articles. Create your articles by clicking on Add article, and fill your Knowledge Base with information.
