Getting Started with the Help Desk

Getting Started Guide for Setting Up Your Help Desk

You'll need to complete the following eight simple steps:

  1. Write a live chat message

  2. Answer to the live chat message

  3. Write an email to the Inbox

  4. Answer the email from the Inbox

  5. Create a Knowledge Base article

  6. Ask your AI chatbot

  7. Start your subscription

  8. Install the live chat to your website

Step 1: Write a live chat message

When you start the onboarding process and select the first step, a popup will appear in your inbox with your live chat, or when you click on the Try chat button on the top. There, all you have to do is enter a message and send it. This is exactly how it will work for your customers as well, on their end. This message will immediately appear in your Inbox within SAAS First.

Step 2: Answe the live chat message from the Inbox

And the bottom, you’ll see the area where you can type in your message. When you’re ready, click on the Send button.

Step 3: Write an email to the Inbox

Find your SAAS First email by going to the Inbox Settings and choosing the Email Settings option. Here, copy the email address you see and from your own mailing box, send an email to this address. Once ready, you’ll see that the email comes in to your SAAS First Inbox.

Step 4: Answer the email from the Inbox

Just like with the live chat messages, you can enter the message you want to give as an answer and hit Send. The email will come into your mailing box in a couple of seconds.

Step 5: Create a Knowledge Base article

Go to your Knowledge Base module, click on the first category, and the Add new article button. Here, all you have to do is find something that you can just copy from your website. For example, a product description. Just make sure it’s content that’s going to be valuable for the AI chatbot to learn and answer questions from. In SAAS First, paste the content you just copied. Give it a title and a short description, and make sure you add it to Milly at the bottom and save it, so the chatbot can learn the content about your business.

Step 6: Ask the AI chatbot

In the AI chatbot menu point, within Train Milly, you can start asking. Just type in your question as if it was a real live chat. It’s important to remember that you can only ask questions related to the content the AI chatbot learns about your business. On the right, you’ll see the relevant snippets it found and the source it got the answer from with a green frame.

Step 7: Start your subscription

In your Admin section, choose the Subscription option, and find the My Plan part. Click on Subscribe, and once you fill out the billing details, you'll be ready to start your subscription!

Step 8: Install the live chat to your website

In your SAAS First Inbox, go to your Settings, and you'll find the Installation Guide.

First, enter your business name and domain. then, install the live chat by copying this simple script and pasting it at the end of your website script before the body closing.
