Getting Started with the AI Chatbot

Getting Started Guide for Adding an AI Chatbot to Your Website

You'll need to complete the following six simple steps:

  1. Create a Knowledge Base article

  2. Ask the AI chatbot about your business

  3. Install the Live Chat to your website

  4. Write Knowledge Base articles

  5. Start your subscription

  6. Activate your AI chatbot

Step 1: Create a Knowledge Base article

You have to know that Milly learns best from the Knowledge Base articles you write within SAAS First. This means we have to start the setup here.

Within the Help Desk you'll find the Knowledge Base. Here, you can start creating your first article by clicking on the Add article button.

Now all you have to do is find something that you can just copy from your website, for example, a product description. Make sure it's content that's going to be valuable for the AI chatbot to learn and answer questions from.

In SAAS First, paste the content you just copied. Give it a title and a short description, and make sure you add it to Milly at the bottom and save it, so the chatbot can learn the content about your business.

Step 2: Ask the AI chatbot about your business

The chatbot learnt the info you put in the article. It's time to ask your question. In the AI chatbot module, within Train Milly, you can start asking.

Type in your question as if it was a real live chat. It's important to remember that you can only ask questions related to the content the AI chatbot learns about your business.

On the right, you'll see the relevant snippets it found and the source it got the answer from with a green frame.

Step 3: Install the Live Chat to your website

In your SAAS First Inbox, go to your Settings, and you'll find the Installation Guide.

First, enter your business name and domain. then, install the live chat by copying this simple script and pasting it at the end of your website script before the body closing.

Once ready, the chatbot can start its job.

Step 4: Write Knowledge Base articles

More articles mean there is more info the chatbot can learn, and the better its answers will be.

Write as many articles as you can with useful content for your chatbot. Go to your Knowledge Base, create new categories, name and customize them, and create sections within them. This way, you'll have an organized place for your articles.

  • Create your articles by clicking on Add article, and fill your Knowledge Base with information.

  • Don't forget to activate the Add to Milly option at the bottom of each article and save them!

Step 5: Start your subscription

In your Admin section, choose the Subscription option, and find the My Plan part. Click on Subscribe, and once you fill out the billing details, you'll be ready to start your subscription!

Step 6: Activate your AI chatbot

Activate your AI chatbot in the Setup Milly section by clicking on the button saying Activate Milly. Check out how Milly initiates the conversation for your customers live.
