Custom Snippets for the Library of the AI Chatbot

What are Custom Snippets?

Custom Snippets are little pieces of information you want the AI chatbot to know when answering questions. However, you don't want to include that specific information in your Knowledge Base articles or on your website.

How to Create Custom Snippets?

There are two ways to create Custom Snippets for your chatbot.

First, go to your Library within the AI Chatbot menu point. There, you will find a list of snippets the AI chatbot already knows. At the top of the list, you have a button saying +Add snippet.

When you click on the +Add snippet button, you'll see an editor where you have to enter a name for the Custom Snippet, and the content. Please note that the content of the Custom Snippet must be at least 600 characters long. Once done with enter the details, click on Add Snippet.

The Custom Snippet will be added to your Library, therefore the AI chatbot can use that information for its answers.

Another alternative way of adding the Custom Snippet is when you are in the Train Milly section.

Whether you are in the Ask anything, Unanswered, or Answers to Improve section, if you ask a question, on the right side, there will always be an option to create a Custom Snippet for that specific questions you are working with.

Here, you also have to enter the name and the content of the Custom Snippet you wish to create. Once ready, click on Add Snippet.
