How Can You Add Contact Parameters



If you want to gather and store more information about your clients, you can add a new Contact Parameter in settings.

You can start by selecting the Contact Parameters section of your Settings menu. At the right-hand side, there is a + Add new parameter button.



A pop-up will be opened, where you can enter the following:



Parameter label: The name the user sees on your interface (e.g. Signed up or Account type).

Name: This is the internal name of your system that makes reference to the field.

Parameter Type: Select the right format of data in your field. You can select between:

  • String: Text or alpha numerical values.

  • Number: For numeric data

  • Date time: To store date information

  • Boolean: True/false or yes/no values

After filling everything, you can add your new parameter with the click of Save changes. It will now be listed under your Contact Parameters and it can be used to follow or store customer specific information.


How Can You Edit Your Contact Parameters


If you want to edit your contact parameters, i.e., the data types you have on your customers, go to the Customers settings and select the Contact Parameters option in the menu on the left. 


Here, you'll see all the parameters that are collected for each of your contacts.

If you want to edit a specific parameter, select it from the list and click on Edit on the right. 




Here, you can change the: 

  • Parameter label

  • Parameter name

  • and Parameter type

Once you are done with changing the details, click on Save changes. 

You can also delete the parameter by clicking on the Delete icon in the bottom left corner of the popup.
