How You Can Filter Tasks Within Your Board


Filter by Any Parameter


At the top right corner of your Board, you can see the Custom Filter Bar. 



Here, you can filter your Tasks according to any given variable you have given to them while editing. 


You can filter by: 

  • Title

  • Description

  • Story Points

  • Deadline

  • Created at

  • Updated at

  • Owner name

  • Owner email

  • Contributor name

  • Contributor email

  • Tester name

  • Tester email

  • Conversation ID

  • Text field content

  • Checklist content

  • Comment 



For filters with a text, you can select: 

  • Exact match: You'll find exactly the text you want to search for.

  • Doesn't match: You'll find everything else except the text you entered.

  • Contains: You'll find everything that contains the text you entered.

  • Not contains: You'll find everything except the text you entered.

  • Has value: You'll find everything that has the variable you've chosen.

  • Doesn't have value: You'll find everything that doesn't have the variable you've chosen.




For filters with a number, you can select:

  • Equal: You'll find exactly the number you want to search for within Tasks.

  • Not equal: You'll find everything else except the number you search for. 

  • Greater than: You'll find everything that has a greater number than the one you entered.

  • Less than: You'll find everything that has a smaller number than the one you entered.

  • Has value: You'll find everything with the chosen variable. 

  • Doesn't have value: You'll find everything that doesn't have the value you've chosen. 



For filters with a date. you can select: 

  • This week: You'll find everything that is true for the variable within the given week.

  • This month: You'll find everything that is true for the variable within the given month.

  • This year: You'll find everything that is true for the variable within the given year.

  • Time range: You'll find everything that is true for the variable within the given time range. You have to enter a From and a To date here for the beginning and ending. 

  • Days ago: You'll find everything that is true for the variable exactly before the number of days you've set up.

  • Has value: You'll find everything with the chosen variable.

  • Doesn't have value: You'll find everything that doesn't have the chosen variable. 




You can also add multiple filters to your search by clicking on the +AND or +OR buttons. 



  • AND connection: Your search will be further refined and added to the previously set up filters as a connection.

  • OR connection: The previously set up filters will remain in your search, and you can further refine your search by creating a new connection separate from the previous one. 


Deleting Filters


You can easily delete a filter by clicking on the X at its top right corner. 



If you want to delete all the filters you've set up, you ca do that by clicking on the Clear all filters button on the right.
