How to create a To Do
Once you have a new idea or task to add to your board, create a new To Do.
Creating a Completely New To Do in the Column
To create a new To Do, follow these steps:
- Go to the board on which you would like to create a To Do.
- Find the board you would like to add the To Do to.
- If you don't have a To Do within the column, click on the + New To Do button at the top.
- Type in a name for your To Do and hit enter to create it. Hit double Enter if you want to open the To Do and start editing it.
- Your new To Do will appear on your board after that
Creating New To Do Between Already Existing To Dos
If you already have To Dos in your column, you can create the new one by clicking on the + icon between the To Dos within the column. You'll see them at the top and at the bottom of every To Do.
Once you click on this, depending on where you want to create the To Do, above or below the existing one, you can name it and hit Enter. Hit double Enter if you want to open the To Do and start editing it.
Creating a New To Do with a Button
There is also another option to create a new To Do. At the top right corner of the Board, you'll see a button with +Create To Do. Once you click on that, a To Do will appear in the default column, which you can start naming, and can edit and adjust to your needs accordingly after.
Here, you can also name the To Do and hit double enter to open the editing of the To Do.
Creating a New To Do from the Top of the Column
And finally, there is one more way you can create a To Do.
At the top of each column, you can see a + sign. Once you click on that, a new To Do will open at the top of the column, which you can name. Hit double enter if you want to open it after naming, and start editing your To Do.
