How You Can Add Story Points to Your Tasks

If you have a specific task you want to determine its size, you can do that with story points. This way, you can check how big the task is for you or for the team members responsible for carrying out the task. 

To add story points to your Task: 

1. Open your Task. 

2. On the right panel, you'll see an option for Story Point. Here, click on the downward arrow in the Story point row. 

   
   
   

   

   
   

3. Here, you can select from the different sizes of the task. You can select from the following options:

   1. Micro - 2

   2. Small - 3

   3. Medium - 5

   4. Large - 8

   5. Extra large - 13

   6. Ultra large - 21

      
      
      

      

      
      

4. Once you selected the size, there is nothing else you need to do. You can close the Task or continue editing it. 

5. If you want to remove the story point, you can easily do that by clickin on the story point you selected, and click on the X next to it on the left. 

   
   

Once you have story points added to your Tasks, you can easily check out the sum of story points in each column on your Board. Just click on the top of the column, and the Story point sum will be displayed. This way, you know exactly how much time it will take to manage the tasks within a specific column.
